Jeff Carter

Jeff Carter began sketching and painting about seven years ago. With no formal training his art was a hobby. He learnt a lot from local watercolour classes, YouTube and online courses. His art never reached the standard he set for himself. Then everything changed. He started sketching subjects he loved, creating memories by drawing places he’d visit using pen and wash techniques. His art became fun and he thinks it showed in what he was creating. If he sketches a cottage, cafe or home he often knocks on the door and gives the picture to the owners. This gives him such a great sense of pleasure and personal fulfilment.
