Greg McLemore
Greg McLemore is both an artist and art educator, and currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland. His art employs the idea of Magical Realism as a starting point to explore the tragic, mysterious, and often comical aspects of life. Greg fluctuates between oil and watercolor, with occasional alliances into ink wash and pen. The work ranges from elaborately detailed urban landscapes to fantastical, surreal narratives. Recent watercolors include a series of still life arrangements with mannequins as well as a series of portraits of artists and other makers in the creative class.
