We are delighted to announce the launch of a new video programme entitled “ARCHES HISTORY WITHIN HISTORY”. Our unique programme tells the fascinating history of the ARCHES® brand and how it has resonated with key events and emblematic personalities through the history of France. Watch the videos to learn all about the origins of the Arches paper mill, its development under its different owners and its impact on the art world over the centuries, and discover a host of surprising anecdotes.

The first episode in the series is devoted to the year 1492, an emblematic date for ARCHES®, for it is the year our paper mill was founded in the village of Arches in the Vosges region of France. At the time, France and the entire world were in the midst of a period of great effervescence marked by major historical events like the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.
