She first discovered watercolour in 2017 and fell in love with the light, fluid nature of this painting technique which she finds very relaxing.<\/p>\n<p>She is also passionate about drawing. She studied at the University of Porto, where she honed her artistic skills as well as graduating with an architecture degree in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, Amanda started to paint commissioned portraits for family and friends. She gives online classes for every level in over 15 countries all over the world, but also face-to-face classes in Portugal. Amanda Reis believes that art is something that is within everyone&#8217;s reach and that anyone can learn. She loves the fact that she is teaching other people a technique that completely changed her life.
