Plunge into the dazzling world of Helen Dardik!
Helen Dardik is a professional artist based in Canada known for her distinctive colourful style combining a playful approach to art with a keen eye for detail. Helen was born in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1972 and lived in Siberia for a time. She then moved to Israel where she studied art and design, before relocating in the 1990s to Canada, where she began to develop her artistic career. She is creatively very versatile, working across a variety of media including illustration, painting and textile design.

Helen’s artistic world is characterised by organic shapes and motifs inspired by nature, especially flowers, animals and landscapes. Her palette of vibrant colours immediately catches the eye and produces a positive, joyful atmosphere. She often takes her inspiration from her everyday environment, and her art reflects a certain optimism, inviting the viewer to discover the beauty hidden in the small things of life.
After completing a graphic design degree, Helen started working as a freelance illustrator. In particular she worked with the Lilla Rogers Studio for 17 years. Her work has been published in magazines, books and a variety of projects ranging from consumer goods to interior decoration. Her illustrations full of humour and sensitivity appeal to a wide audience, including children.

Currently, Helen works mostly with watercolour and gouache and travels the world sharing her knowledge and passion for creativity with inspiring people. Her main aim: to have unique life experiences and incorporate them into her art. She takes part in numerous workshops.
Helen Dardik’s art is exhibited in several galleries across Canada and abroad. Her works touch not only on the world of contemporary art, but also that of popular culture, making her an artist who cannot be overlooked. As an artist she inspires and enthrals, reminding us all that art has the power to transform the way we see the world and to add a touch of magic to our daily lives.
