Born in NYC in 1948, David Shedlarz has always enjoyed the heartbeat of city life. After retiring from the corporate world, he has traveled the globe with his camera, aspiring to capture enduring portraiture of real people doing everyday things in their natural environments. David tends to seek out places around the world that have yet to succumb to modernization, urbanization and gentrification, intent on preserving our Cultural Heritage. David’s work has been published by Dodho Magazine and recognized by the NEW York Center for Photographic Art. YJ Contemporary recently showcased his landscape images entitled “Winter in New Zealand”. David currently lives in Bluffton, SC and is looking forward to continuing his photographic pursuits.
