Luca Brandi is an Italian artist born in 1961. From the age of 9, he began helping his master, Romolo Prati, and painted icons in a number of churches in Florence. He studied with Paolo Galletti, from whom he learned the theories on the decomposition of form through geometric painting and colour. After studying figurative and abstract art, he discovered a passion for minimalism.
Today, his technique is based on the layering of metallic colours. Luca Brandi exhibits in Italy and abroad.
