Magnificent photos by Sarah Moon on display at La Galerie Dior
La Galerie Dior, which opened its doors to the public in March 2022, offers visitors from all over the world the chance to plunge into the world of the House of Dior. A unique repository of a unique history, La Galerie Dior also exhibits, in a dialogue with its collections, works of art such as Sarah Moon’s photographs.
Ever since it was created in 1946, the House of Dior has been inextricably linked with the art world. It comes as no surprise therefore to find in the Galerie entrance hall a portrait of Christian Dior painted by Japanese artist Yukimasa Ida.

In the L’ALLURE DIOR section, 7 Sarah Moon photographs, printed on ARCHES® Platine by master platinum printer Martin Axon, are on display alongside the iconic silhouettes created by Christian Dior and the artistic directors who succeeded him.

In a continuation of the dialogue between Dior and Sarah Moon, the House has published an exceptional collection of the photographer’s images gathered together in an elegant box set. This precious collection of three books of evanescent and powerfully textured photos expresses the force emanating from the silhouettes imagined by Christian Dior and his successors, particularly Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of Dior women’s collections.
