YOU ARCHES® Marie-Laurence Morizot, leader and trainer at the Arches paper mill.
Introduce yourself briefly
My name’s Marie-Laurence. I’m 57 and I live in Archettes, 2 km from where I work.
Have long have you worked for ARCHES®? How were you recruited?
I was recruited in July 1986 after completing a work experience placement.
I started out in the sizing workshop. My job was to hang out the sheets one by one on a washing line in the drier. At that time there were about 40 of us in the workshop.

What’s your job? What does it involve?
I’ve worked on every workstation. Over the years I’ve moved on to become a supervisor and trainer in charge of finished product inspections. As a leader, I supervise the work in the workshop. When the operators have questions, they come to me.
What qualities are needed to do your job?
You have to have had experience on all the workstations, to be able to listen to the operators and to be meticulous.

Did you have any specific training?
Yes, I have an inter-branch professional qualification called a CQPI. That’s a certificate that validates the professional abilities and skills implemented in the company.
What does the ARCHES® brand mean to you?
Quality paper with a good reputation.
In your opinion, how do artists see the ARCHES® brand?
Given the amount of orders we handle, I’m pretty sure artists like our paper!
What would you like to say to the people reading this article?
We do everything we can to satisfy them.
