Introduce yourself briefly

My name is Théo Aptel. I live near Arches in a small village located 10 minutes from the paper mill.

Have long have you worked for ARCHES®?

I’ve been working for the company since 2016. I did my end-of-studies work placement there. I was hired once I graduated.

What’s your job?

I wear two hats: I’m the shipping manager and I’m also in charge of purchasing raw materials.

You’re in charge of purchasing. Can you tell us what that involves?

It involves determining what raw materials are needed for the smooth running of the company. Once this is done, we have to purchase/negotiate various products with suppliers, while taking account of constraints in terms of timing, volume, context, etc.

What qualities are needed to do your job?

The qualities needed for this job include rigour as well as organisational, interpersonal and thinking skills.

What does the ARCHES® brand mean to you?

The ARCHES® brand means high-end products and excellence in French craftsmanship.

In your opinion, how do artists see the ARCHES® brand?

It should be seen as a guarantee of quality.

Are you an artist yourself?

I’m not an artist, but I do a lot of physical exercise outside of my professional life, if you can call that art 😊
