Thomas Valenti
Thomas Valenti was born and raised in the South Bronx, New York. He has resided in the same home in Northern New Jersey since 1978. Thomas Valenti works in Watercolor and Oil. His favored subjects are New York City street scenes painted in a realistic manner. He served as President of Allied Artists of America (AAA) from 2006 – 2017. Valenti has exhibited in juried competitions during his forty years as a professional artist winning countless top awards. His most recent prize came last year (2019) in AAA’s 106th Annual Exhibition where his oil painting, “Sweeper at the Met”, was chosen for Allied Artists of America’s Gold Medal of Honor (Best in Show).
