1. An exceptional surface, an unequalled touch

Made of 100% cotton rag linters, ARCHES® Expression paper comes with a fine grain (Texture) or smooth surface (Velours) and guarantees perfect ink adhesion. It offers astonishingly sharp rendering, bringing out the most subtle details in offset printing, screen printing and letterpress printing. Its incredibly soft touch makes every print job a sensory experience.

2. Faithful, vivid reproduction of colours

The paper’s surface sizing ensures outstanding colour reproduction: contrasts, shading and depth of tone are magnified to give printed works a high-quality vividness.

3. Stability, consistency and durability

ARCHES® Expression is made on a cylinder mould, a traditional paper-making process that produces papers with a quality close to that of papers made by craft methods: the slow rotation of the cylinder mould allows the fibres to be deposited evenly and regularly on the wire, which gives the paper excellent dimensional stability and great strength in the printing and finishing process. Only papermaking on a cylinder mould can produce sheets with deckle edges.

4. Compatibility and versatility

This paper is ideal for offset printing (surface sizing offering excellent ink holdout and sharp contours), as well as for screen printing (flat surface and strength offering even depositing of the inks, even after multiple passes). Its special formulation also means it is perfectly suited to letterpress printing, thermographic printing, hot-foil stamping, blind embossing, embossing, stamping, varnishing, turning in and laminating.
