Helen Dardik
Helen Dardik is a professional artist famous for her distinctive colourful style combining a playful approach to art with a keen eye for detail. She was born in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1972 and lived in Siberia for a time before moving to Israel to study art and design. In the 1990s, she relocated to Canada, where she started to develop her career as an artist.
Her work reveals great creative versatility, covering a variety of media including illustration, painting and textile design. Helen takes her inspiration from nature, and her work mainly features organic shapes, flower and animal motifs and landscapes, all in a palette of bright colours that produce a positive, joyful effect. Her art, which draws largely on her everyday environment, invites the viewer to discover the beauty in the details of life.
