Nina Marie Altman

After 38 years in healthcare and 2 years as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist in western Washington, Marie Altman retired in 2021 and moved with her husband to Spokane. Although art has been a part of Nina’s life since childhood, it was not until she relocated that she was able to spend more time painting subjects in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Nina’s education includes a BS in Physiotherapy, an MEd. in Education, and an MS in Engineering. She has also held a Seattle Boiler Engineer’s license, Shipyard Competent certification and a Designated Engineer position.
