Louis Robert

Louis Robert has been a watercolourist since 2018. His aim above all – more than to represent the world – is to breathe new life into watercolour, to instil a breath of modernity by using powerful, beautiful and harmonious colours. Louis attaches great importance to composition, because it is what gives life to an image. He plays with diagonals, slanting lines, Art Déco shapes to give his watercolours a special dynamism. He is fascinated by light and contrast and he wants to share his experience in watercolour with as many people as possible.
