Ysoleane
Thamara Ramdani (artist’s name Ysoleane) is a watercolourist and artist who paints and draws. This new name, inspired by the word soleil (sun), reflects her radiant, solar personality, even though some of her works still bear her old signature, Thamy. Through her paintbrushes and her pencils, she seeks to give life to emotions, stories and suspended moments. Drawing on her passion for botany, she chooses her subjects as much for their beauty as for their strong symbolic dimension. The rose evokes love and beauty, the lily purity and fertility, and the orchid supreme beauty and sensuality. Through these flowers, the artist proposes a symbolic representation of woman, her values and her place in contemporary society.
