Luz Valencia
Luz Valencia is a painter, arts educator, and co founder of 1010BCN, an interdisciplinary collective based in Barcelona that explores the intersections of art, technology, and ecology. Her practice examines identity, memory, and human relationships with the natural world through painting, installations, and collaborative projects involving biodata and generative systems. With over 15 years of experience, she works across painting, printmaking, installation, and performance, and leads arts programs at Green City Lab Barcelona, using creative practice to foster social connection and environmental awareness. Luz has collaborated with major institutions in the UK and Spain and is deeply committed to inclusive, participatory approaches that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and ecological consciousness.
