Fabien Laze

His first encounter with art came during his childhood spent near Giverny, with its impressionist influences. Although he would abandon colour, light and what it reveals still occupy an essential place in all his work. Fabien delivers an intense vision with vibrant strokes of great accuracy. He acquired this highly technical skill in Paris, which he spent many years sketching in ink. If his drawings arouse such strong emotions, it is because they convey his experience as a traveller, his intimate encounters with places and people.
