Jean-François Escande exhibition
At an exhibition in Lège-Cap Ferret running from 10 to 29 October 2022, Jean-François Escande, an architect and self-taught visual artist from Bordeaux, will be showing a number of works mainly done in series in Indian ink and charcoal.
Who is Jean-François Escande ?
Jean-François Escande was born in Agen (France) in 1962. A graduate of Bordeaux School of Architecture, he became a freelance architect in 1995. He produced his first processes in series in Indian ink and charcoal in 2013. His abstract, geometrical works are exclusively done in black and with an ever-present precision. In 2020, he ran children’s initiation workshops on Abstract Art in Bordeaux.
